Trained as a developer, Sylvain quickly became interested in CRM development and then in web-based prospective systems. About 15 years ago, he started using Analytics to complement CRM data and optimize marketing investments. Today, with Pumpup, he develops data and technical expertise while remaining in contact with clients through the implementation of branding plans. For him, setting up and optimizing a Google Tag Manager tracking system is no longer a secret.

Google Tag Manager, also known as GTM, is Google's tag manager that allows you to simply and easily install tags (scripts) also called "Tags" on any type of service with little or no development cost. With GTM, it is possible to centralize all of your tags, thus facilitating their application on a site without touching the code directly.

It is a tool compatible with the whole Google universe, but not only. It's free and doesn't require a subscription. This is a real plus! It saves marketing time with a reliable and secure tool.

A great help for marketing

This tag manager is a precious help for marketing reactivity and site adaptability. On an e-commerce page, when the URL does not change, it is difficult to follow an action of the user. This can happen to follow the products in the shopping cart, the order tunnel, ... The addition of a script allows to better follow the user in his purchase and to guarantee a fluid and error-free path. We can also better follow the source of origin and the origin of the user.

Fast loading time

You save time when implementing new scripts. You also reduce the number of scripts on a web page: time saving when implementing these tags, much easier maintenance (less scripts on each page), less risk of errors on the pages and gain in page loading time. Result: pages are lighter and load faster. Google Tag Manager triggers tags asynchronously. This way, they load independently and do not impact the loading time of the site.
